Owl craft for kids step-by-step
You’ll need lots of colourful leaves of different sizes to make this owl. Let your little ones find leaves they like when out and about and save them to press for later.
The leaves need to be pressed & dried before starting. Cover the leaves in kitchen roll or parchment paper and press between two heavy books. Leave for at least 24 hours.
Once the leaves are dry the creative fun can begin! Let your little one’s imagination run wild and pick out what leaves they want to use for the body, wings and head.
When the leaves have been chosen, stick them down onto a coloured piece of paper using the glue stick.
Use the felt tip pen to add eyes and nose to the owl.
